I am not perfect. There. I've admitted it. Yesterday, my eldest son called me - yes, the one on pain meds from his recent surgery - and informed me I had a huge misspelling in my blog. (Yes, I corrected it. No, I'm not going to tell you where.) When I write this thing, it's usually just after I get up in the morning - before breakfast, before tea, before anything (except feeding the cat - she wouldn't let me do anything before her). So often, my brain is still sleep fogged. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. If you ever find a typo - I appreciate knowing. Like I said, I am certainly not perfect.
Today's teaser: Columbus discovered the new land in October. Put your character(or yourself) in an ancient explorer's time. If given the opportunity, would he sail off to the wilds with them? What would his job on the ship be? How would he feel about seeing land after so many months at sea? Did he get seasick? Write a short scene either at the beginning, middle or end of his voyage.
